During the weekend of October 21st and 22nd I had the honor of hosting a weekend event for the Designing for Children’s Rights (D4CR) association. D4CR is an international organisation that stands behind the Children’s Design Guide and which I have put in a lot of volunteering work for during the last years.

You can read an interview where I talk more about D4CR here for the Joan Ganz Cooney Center.

Joining in Stockholm was a group people travelling from Europe and the US to meet up and work and share learnings between the local chapters, as well as thinking about how we can work to improve the impact of the work we do to promote better design for children and the D4CR Guide. For the association we also had a workshop to see how we can make the organisation more sustainable to work well in the years to come.

I was really happy to be able to host the event at our office space Toca Boca Campus and it felt like we ended up with a really successful and fun weekend.

Designing for Children’s Rights(D4CR) is a global non-profit association, supporting the Designing for Children’s Rights Guide that integrates the U.N. convention of rights of the child in design, business and development of products and services around the world.
